Welcome to the DDD Truce Forum! We’re so excited to have you collaborating with us. Whether you would like to engage with our prompts, take advantage of our community discussions, or spectate our collective construction of Truce, there is a place for you here. Please read and abide by the rules, for the safety and pleasure of all forum members.
Rules - While on this forum, on Discord called a server, please be sure to read and follow these rules. We want to make sure everyone is safe and can have a good time on this server, so, in the case of any issues, Administrators are permitted to mute people or ban them from the server. A ban, unless in a particularly egregious situation, would be preceded first with a warning. So please stay kind and respectful!!
1. Be Respectful Please be kind and respectful to your fellow forum members. Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated. David Dorfman Dance (DDD) welcomes anyone regardless of sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, gender identity, or disability. Please make sure your behavior reflects that! Discriminatory behavior towards others will result in a ban. Users’ conduct within Direct Messages(DMs), be it towards other users or staff, fall under our jurisdiction if they are reported to the team and found to be breaking Discord’s Terms of Service(TOS) or server rules. The glorification of violence, hate or any groups that promote the same is also not to be tolerated. This rule applies to memes, images, audio, video, and every other media form shared with this site.
2. Keep Things Safe For Work(SFW) Please keep images and messages SFW. Not Safe For Work(NSFW) images or messages with things such as gore, excessive violence, or nudity, does not fit in a public server and may make others uncomfortable. Please refrain from sending such messages. The discussion of sexual identity is allowed. Contextual representations of nudity (Art/History/Mythology) are permitted in artistic discussions.
3. Keep discussions relevant to each channel's topic; moderators may ask you to relocate off-topic discussions.
4. Administrators have the final authority to enforce the server's rules, and we ask that you please comply with admin requests without dispute. Inappropriate behavior will result in a Mute and a warning about the behavior, and a repeat of that behavior will result in a Ban, If you have a concern relating to admin action or wish to appeal a decision, please contact a staff member via DMs.
5. Do not mention, ping or otherwise initiate one on one or private conversations in this public forum. We highly encourage you to move private conversations to a direct message through Discord! If you have a concern or dispute, please send a Direct Message to any administrator. If your concern is with the actions of the administrator, please contact another DDD staff member.
6. Introduce Yourself! Once you join the server be sure to introduce yourself with your name, pronouns, and what brought you to this server! That way an Officer can grant you access to the rest of the server! It would also be very helpful for you to put your preferred name as your nickname or in brackets after your username so everyone can know who everybody is! If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to private message any of the Officers or use the text channel #officer-help
